Apple Arcade Finally Releases Fantasian and Wonderbox


Apple Arcade had a big Friday. The gaming service, which costs $5 per month, launched Fantasian, a brand new RPG from Final Fantasy creator Hironobu Sachaguchi and Mistwalker as well as Wonderbox The Adventure Maker from Aquiris. Both games were announced at Apple Arcade's launch in September of this year. Fantasian's story focuses on Leo the protagonist who is a young boy who lost his memory after an explosion at a hybrid magic-tech factory. Leo wakes up in an environment controlled by machines and sets out to locate his father. He has one clue: A repeated vision of a young girl. Leo encounters Kina, the woman whom he had wanted to meet when the time comes to En, a dusty frontier village.



The two embark on an adventure to find Leo's memories and discover their fates. As Leo's past unravels as well as other mysteries revealed in the multidimensional adventure, the equilibrium between chaos and order becomes more difficult to keep.



Fantasian features over 150 handcrafted dioramas that form the game's world as well as a gorgeous soundtrack by legendary Final Fantasy composer Nobuo Uematsu.
